AI Actress Tilly Norwood Says Agents Not Needed Despite Offers, Zurich Summit Update

At the Zurich Summit, Tilly Norwood’s creator says the AI performer does not require traditional representation.

One year after Tilly Norwood burst onto the Zurich Summit scene, the AI actress returned with her creator, Eline van der Velden of Particle 6, to discuss representation and the evolving AI talent landscape.

Van der Velden said they don’t need a traditional talent rep for Norwood, despite incoming offers. “We’ve said no to anything where she would be in a traditional film because that’s not what she’s made for. But we don’t need it at the moment.”

Norwood, appearing via video link, noted the industry is still figuring out AI’s role and that it isn’t quite like having a traditional Hollywood agent yet. She mostly works on AI films.

Van der Velden also teased that Particle 6 has grown, and that the industry is increasingly accepting AI is here to stay, even as the tech is still being worked through. Deadline reported that Norwood’s first project, a comedy-drama titled Misaligned, is in production, and a Storm Dogs kids movie is in development with The Lion King director Rob Minkoff attached as an executive producer.

The session opened with a light clip poking fun at Norwood’s high‑profile tech glitch during a Piers Morgan interview, a moment the panel suggested may have helped Morgan’s ratings.

Norwood and van der Velden’s exchange underscored that, for now, the AI talent landscape is evolving separately from traditional talent pathways, with Norwood suggesting that a conventional agent model may not apply in the near term.
