Queens of the Stone Age reveal new single ‘Where the Goth Girls At?’ from Perfecth, with a goth-soaked video and fall tour
Queens of the Stone Age have released another single from their upcoming album, Perfecth. The track is titled Where the Goth Girls At?, and the release is paired with a music video that leans into goth imagery and a desert-industrial setting.
In a press release accompanying the single, frontman Josh Homme reflects on nostalgia for his teenage years and the allure of a certain scene, noting the vibe of pursuing affection through a distinctive aesthetic. The release includes a short line from Homme: “Teenage love, ain’t it grand?”
The music video for Where the Goth Girls At? is directed by Christopher Gruse and Tony Wolski. It centers on a deserted power-plant backdrop where goth-leaning characters take charge, with heavy ink and stylized fashion lending a dramatic, cinematic mood. The video features members of Queens of the Stone Age along with cameo appearances by comedian Steve Agee, dancer Scarlett Kapella, and singer-actress Lou Lou Safran.
Where the Goth Girls At? follows the band’s earlier Perfecth singles Insignificant Other and Easy Street. The full album is slated for release on October 30 through Matador Records, and the band will continue touring in the fall with a Louisville date kicking off a broader run that then takes the shows to Japan and Australia.
Narrative cues in the release place the track within a broader promotional cycle for Perfecth, with critics and fans watching for how the record expands the band’s sound as they map out the rest of the year on tour.
